Meet Our Team

Pray Blueberry Farm is owned by Gerald and Kathryn Lincoln.  I, Jerry, grew up on this farm until starting college.  I worked two summers while an undergraduate on a cranberry bog.  Kathy’s grandparents and parents managed grain elevators in Minnesota and the Dakotas until she was in high school.

I started college majoring in Electrical Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.  In 1972 I received a letter “inviting” me to join the military.  I enlisted and chose to join the U.S. Army Security Agency (ASA).  My schooling was at Fort Devens, Massachusetts.  The remainder of my service was at the USASA–Field Station in Augsburg, Germany.

I returned to school on the GI Bill after the army and completed undergraduate studies and an MA at UW–Madison.  We then moved to Indiana where I completed the M.Div. and Th.M. degrees.  I was a librarian and faculty member at Grace College & Theological Seminary.  I have been a librarian and faculty member at Lancaster Bible College since 1993.  Kathy insisted that I had completed my education when I earned a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science.  My main areas of teaching have been in the Greek Language, New Testament, and theological research.  I also taught a PE class, Introduction to Fly Fishing.  I retired June 30, 2019 and Kathy retired on February 28, 2020.

Kathy completed her undergraduate degree after the children were in school.  She also earned her MA in counseling.  Her career had been in social work.

We moved back to the farm permanently in 2020.

Our daughter and son-in-law, Adam and Sarah Nantais, have been involved in building the pond, the irrigation pump house, and planting the blueberries.

Our daughter and son-in-law, Daniel and Rebekah Pettaway have provided pictures of the blueberries.
